This is a delightful walk of about 4-5Km on the Dorset coast. We did the cliff-top walk with our dog and two cats and returned mostly along the beach (which the cats were not at all sure about!) - but do check the tide before doing the beach. As well as the cliff-top walk there is another path further inland.
The cliff-top walk detours at Burton Freshwater to cross the River Bride further inland. Here you can take the inland path through Burton Bradstock.
The Dorset coast here is packed with wild flowers and splendid views. At Hive Beach there is a dog (and cat) friendly sea-food cafe.
West Bay has a large car park (which can get busy in high season) and is only 13 miles (so about 25 minutes) from our holiday cottages.
